This notice explains how Brightside Living Group, LLC handles information collected through brightsideliving.org. It is separate from the Notice of Privacy Practices that governs treatment records, described below.
Information we collect on this site
If you submit an inquiry form, we collect the name, phone number, email address, and any message you provide. Our web host and analytics tools also record standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
Please do not include medical, diagnostic, or treatment details in a web form. If you need to discuss those, call us at (702) 560-4640 and we will handle it securely.
How we use it
We use inquiry information to respond to you, to arrange an intake conversation if you want one, and to keep records of our communications. We use technical data to operate and improve the site.
How we share it
We share your information only as needed to respond to you and operate our services, and as required or permitted by law. That can include our staff and house leadership, service providers who host our website or email, and, where you have authorized it, clinicians involved in your care. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
Text messages
If you check the text-message box on our contact form, you consent to receive text messages from us about your inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out.
Health information and treatment records
Information created in the course of substance use disorder treatment is protected separately and more strictly than website data, under the federal privacy rules at 45 CFR Parts 160 and 164 (HIPAA) and 42 CFR Part 2, which governs substance use disorder patient records. Those records are not covered by this website notice.
Our Notice of Privacy Practices describes how treatment information is used and disclosed and what rights you have over it. You receive it at intake, and you may request a copy at any time by emailing mwolfe@brightsideliving.org or calling (702) 560-4640.
